The new classroom is so much larger and we have a separate lunchroom area! For all day classes we encourage you to bring your lunch. The lunchroom is equipped with a water fountain, refrigerator and microwave. Please be certain to read our class policies.
Block of the Month Class
Block of the Month classes require a $30 deposit to secure your spot in the class. The deposit will be applied toward the final months fees for the class or will be forfeited to the teacher if the class is not finished by the student. Class fees are payable monthly. Patterns will be provided monthly.
Mary Isbell's Twelve-Month Quilt
Class fee: $10 per month and the book is $24.95
Meeting Dates: The 2nd Thursday of each month
Come in and let us show you the blocks the 2006 class has been doing. You learn a different method of hand applique each month. This class will fill up quickly, if you are interested, let us put you on the list. You may still sign up for Mary Isbell's Block of the Month this week only.

Computer Club Class
1st Tuesday of the Month - 10am to noon ($20/mo.)
August 5th, September 2nd, October 7th, November 4th - (all types of machines welcomed as long as it's embroidery)
We will introduce the student to Machine Embroidery by creating quick make and take projects that may last 1-3 classes depending on the project. Sign up on Cheryl's e-mail list (cheryl@hand-made-hugs.com) and you will receive a monthly supply list. You can come to one month or all year.
Janome 6600 Club
4th Monday of the month - 6:30pm to 8pm.
Wednesday, March 25th
This club is free if you purchased your 6600 thru Quilt Shop of Anderson, if not, then there is an $8.00 per month fee. We will be discovering a new aspect of this machine each month !!
Machine Embroidery Club Class
1st Tuesday of Every Month - 12pm to 2pm $20/mo.
Starts Feb. 12th. Each month will focus on a different aspect of the software. One month may focus on Text and Monogramming, and the next month may focus on Editing Designs, Rotatiing, Enlarging, etc.. Sign up with Cheryl's email list (cheryl@hand-made-hugs.com) to get an update each month.
Girls Nite Out
Join us for Fun Friday Nite starting at 6pm
Okay ladies we are going out in style on Friday, March 27th. This will be our last Girls Nite Out at the old store before we move into the new store. If you want the latest on what is happening at the Quilt Shop then be sure to come to this Girls Nite Out and you will get filled in on all the "gossip".
Snacks as usual and same time as always, starting at 6PM and "until"........
Of course there is no charge for this nite out and we will even give you 20% off any purchase that nite !! The store will be open to all that stop by for the 20% off.

This is a terrific Christmas table runner, even for the beginner. You can make one for yourself or several as gifts for Christmas as it makes up very quickly. What better time while Christmas fabric is 30% off till Aug. 22nd

Join us for this 4 week course in learning all the terms and basics of quilting. This class will be making a quilt called Rail Fence which is on display at the store. This is a great quilt to start with as a Beginner and no pattern will be needed as each of you will create your own. This class is always a fun time !!

Country Star Wallhanging/Lap Quilt

Join Deanne to learn so many techniques with this quilt !! This quilt involves a little bit of everything from fussy cutting to machine piecing to machine applique and hand applique, as well as bias strips. This will be an awesome class !!
