Class Policies

For each class, unless specified differently, the following basic items will be needed when attending:

• cream or gray spool of thread
• small pair of scissors
• medium cutting mat and rotary with new sharp blade (you may use the ones in the classroom if you do not mind sharing)
• pattern or book for class
• fabrics of choice

We are proud to carry Janome Sewing Machines! If you should need to borrow a machine for class, please let us know well in advance and we will try to make arrangements for you to use one of our Janome display machines. For classes extending thru the lunch hour you are welcome to bring snack or lunch. We have a full service lunchroom with microwave and refrigerator and water dispenser for your use.

Payment for class upon signup will ensure your spot being reserved and allows us to know that we have the minimum required for the class to be taught. Please keep in mind that not only has the teacher made arrangements for a class day, but other students have also made arrangements, therefore we ask that you only cancel on an emergency basis. Should you need to cancel, doing so one week prior to class returns your entire class fee. If we do not meet the minimum required for the class and the shop cancels the class, all fees will be refunded.

Class Fees: Your paid class fee assures you of a spot in a class. We try to set a minimum and a maximum for each class to insure you proper individualized attention from the teacher. Should we not reach minimum then the class will be cancelled or postponed and all fees returned.
